  • CHURCH AT THE LAKE | Luke 18 “The Blind Man Healed”
    Sep 21 2025

This week’s podcast takes you to a special gathering: Church at the Lake 2025. Our church family came together outdoors for a day filled with worship, fellowship, food, and fun. With the water as our backdrop, we sang, prayed, and shared in a unique time of community.

Pastor Colton preached from Luke 18, where Jesus heals the blind man on the road to Jericho. In this encounter, Jesus stops, listens, and asks a deeply personal question: “What do you want me to do for you?” The message reminds us that Jesus is never too busy to hear us, and He still asks that same question of us today. Whether our need is healing, forgiveness, or guidance, He invites us to come to Him in faith.

It was a joyful day of worship and fellowship at the lake, and we’re excited to share the message with you.

  • MIDWEEK | 1 Peter 1:23 “Born Again?”
    Sep 18 2025

In this week’s midweek service, we opened our Bibles to 1 Peter 1:23 and began unpacking the first phrase of the verse: “being born again.” This short but powerful truth raises some of the most important questions anyone can ask: What does it mean to be born again? Why does the Bible emphasize this idea so strongly? And how does it change a person’s standing before God?

To help answer those questions, we also turned to John 3:3, where Jesus spoke to Nicodemus under the cover of night and declared, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” From that conversation, we see that being born again is not about self-improvement or religious effort, but about a radical new birth that only God can bring.

This message explores how the new birth is tied to the imperishable Word of God, why it is essential for becoming a citizen of heaven, and how it reshapes both our identity and our eternal future. Whether you’ve heard the phrase “born again” many times or you’re still curious about what it really means, this teaching will give you a deeper understanding of the hope and life found in Christ.

  • REVIVAL SERMON | 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 “The Baggage of Shame”
    Sep 15 2025

In this special revival service at Fairview Baptist Church, Pastor Colton opened God’s Word to 2 Corinthians 5:16-21. The message focused on shame—how dangerous it is to carry it on our own and how it keeps us from experiencing the fullness of God’s grace. Pastor Colton reminded us that in Christ, God has reconciled the world to Himself, no longer counting our sins against us. Instead of living under the weight of shame, we are called to live in the freedom and new identity that Jesus provides.

This powerful night of worship and preaching challenged us to lay down our burdens at the cross and embrace the calling to be ambassadors for Christ.
