The Factory at 811 W. Hargett St., 27603 in Raleigh, NC, is a Maker's Space; a co-manufacturing space, a hub for networking, education, and collaboration. This week we sit down with The Factory's founder, Johnny Hackett Jr. (@officialblackdollar on Instagram). He gives us the ins and outs on how the space came to be, what they offer small biz owners, and how this ties in with his other venture, The Black Friday Market, also in downtown Raleigh, NC. Johnny is our first returning guest. And I can almost guarantee, now that Johnny has revealed his TRUE passion, we'll need to come back to continue this story.

We learned a TON on this episode! The first thing we learned is, when Kimberly Winborne invites you to a meeting to discuss ANYTHING, you show up. You show up because she only has her community's best interest at heart. If you consider yourself part of "the community", then she's working for you.   Kimberly's super power is collaboration. We learned how she uses that super power to educate her clients on financial literacy, the financial benefits of insurance, and how to handle debt with her book The Debt Detox. We left this episode charged up, ready to approach things with a new mindset, and with info that helps us do just that.
