    My Stress-Free Content Creation System

There’s this common misconception that I spend loads of time creating content for my business. I get it – I produce a lot, and I could talk about just about anything for hours! But here's a secret: I don’t actually spend much time creating content week-to-week. My trick? Batch creating my business content. And I want to break that down for you, because if you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or stuck with your content, this could be a game-changer.

This episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is all about the three (well, four!) simple steps that help me create content in a way that feels easy, organised and even a little bit fun.

Plus, I've got something extra for you at the end (#Tashmas is in full swing – don’t miss it!).

    Wait… What is #Tashmas?

I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day up to the 12th of December, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day.

Why I Needed a Better Way

If you’ve been tuning in for a while, you might know that I’m a big fan of finding ways to get into my “creation mode.” But something I haven’t really talked about in detail is how I break up my content creation into separate, clear steps.

Here’s what I mean: I used to go back and forth constantly. I'd plan, send things off for SEO, get them back, record, send for editing, do show notes, get it back, then schedule social posts. There were about eight handover points – and that’s eight failure points! I was always the bottleneck. I’d get overwhelmed and things would get stuck.

Now? I’ve streamlined everything. I only work on content up to a certain point, then I hand it off to my team and it doesn’t come back. If you don’t have a team, don’t worry – I’ll show you how this can work solo too, just by breaking up the steps.

    My Four-Part Content Creation Process

Let’s keep it simple. I break my content process into four steps:

    1. Ideation
    2. Formation
    3. Creation
    4. Distribution

Let’s walk through each of these.

We Can Make Money in Our Sleep?! (The MAFS Lesson)

This one’s for everyone who’s ever been dazzled by the idea of “making money in your sleep”—and everyone who’s maybe rolled their eyes at it, too! In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want us to have a really honest conversation about building an online business, how magical it can be, and why we sometimes lose our sparkle along the way.

Spoiler: there’s a special Tashmas gift for you at the end!

The MAFS Moment: From Hilarious to Honest

If you watched the latest season of Married at First Sight Australia, you’ll know where this starts. Jackie, one of the brides, spent her vows basically reading her CV—it was hilarious and super relatable. Then she threw in: “I even started a side business and I make money in my sleep. I mean, who on earth figures out how to make money in their sleep?” I cringed and laughed so hard at the same time, because I used to be her.

That sentence, though! If you’ve been around the online business world, you’ve probably heard it: “make money in your sleep.” And if you’re anything like me, you might not even realise if you’ve become a little jaded about that concept.

  • #494: How do you generate and sustain motivation in business? - #Tashmas Day 9 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast
    Dec 8 2025

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/494

    Let’s Get Honest About Motivation

Today I want to get real about something we all struggle with, even though it feels like it shouldn’t happen when you’re heart-centred and passionate about what you do: losing motivation in business. If you’ve been feeling a bit off, or you can’t seem to bring yourself to do what matters most in your business, you’re not alone—and it doesn’t mean you’re failing. I’m going to walk you through why it happens and exactly what you can do to generate and sustain motivation in your business, even if your spark feels like it’s disappeared.

My aim with every episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast is to help heart-centred entrepreneurs make more money and change the world for the better. Motivation is a real sticking point in that journey, which is why this conversation is so important.

PLUS, as always, I have another gift for you for #Tashmas day 9!

Why Motivation Disappears (and Why It’s Not a Moral Failing)

First, I want to be super clear: there are so many valid reasons why motivation can feel hard to come by. Maybe you’ve got stuff going on in your personal life. Maybe business results aren’t what you hoped for. Perhaps you’re overloaded, or you’re dealing with burnout, health issues, hormones, neurodivergence, or external factors that throw you off course.

I know for myself, positive feedback on my content really boosts my motivation—but I also want to show up no matter what. The tricky thing here is that, as heart-centred entrepreneurs, our sense of motivation can feel deeply connected to our purpose. So, when motivation drops, it can feel like we’re failing—not just as business owners, but as people. That’s just not true. Feeling unmotivated doesn’t make you bad or lazy. Everyone experiences it. If someone tells you they’ve NEVER struggled to stay motivated, I honestly think they’re lying.

    So let’s ditch that guilt.
