Kim Nichols of the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons joins Heart of The East End Gianna Volpe on WLIW-FM discussing ways A.R.F. helps local families in need keep their pets at home such as through low-cost behavior classes, at-cost vaccinations and directing all food/toy donations to regional food pantries, plus a note that folks sharing adopted pet pictures and rescue ‘love stories’ like Nichols’ own foster fail, Finley the Corgi, are being featured by the local animal rescue on their social media pages & weekly newsletter leading up to Valentine’s Day.

Joann Proscia of Northport joins Heart of The East End Gianna Volpe on WLIW-FM to talk about her extensive Playbill collection, which was preserved by Northport-East Northport Library staff, and is currently on display at Greenport Village's Floyd Memorial Library. An opening reception for the “Playbill Throughout the Years” exhibition will take place on Friday, Jan. 23 from 5-7 p.m.
