When Cousin Judy, and later, Cousin Doreen both mentioned to Denise that we should DEFINITELY stop in Helen, GA in our travels, the seed was planted. After hearing of this Bavarian Village in the mountains of Georgia, James agreed. MISTAKE. Were we greeted by miles of plywood facades and the potential for foodborne illness... or are we way off base? Based on the reviews on... and money pouring into... Helen, GA we have a sense that our inbox is going to be full of angry comments this week! Fine, defend Helen and tell us where we went wrong... we'll at least listen.
