Nov. 2, 2025 ~ Pink Fund provides financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels, and allow breast cancer patients in active treatment to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes. The 90-day grant program allows them to meet their critical expenses for housing, transportation, utilities, and insurance. Founder Molly Mc Donald joins Michigan Voices. During World War II, while millions of American men fought overseas, an equally critical battle was waged at home—in factories, shipyards, laboratories, and offices—by women who stepped up to fill the nation’s labor shortage. Now their efforts will be immortalized with a statue at the Michigan World War II memorial in Royal Oak. Michigan Director of Women Ordinance Workers joins Michigan Voices.
