À propos de cet audio

The Lexington Minutemen (9-1, 6-0 ) won the outright Ohio Cardinal Conference Championship on Friday with a thrilling 43-35 win at home over the Ashland Arrows (9-1, 5-1). It's the first league crown for Lex since 2016 and was the first loss of the year for Ashland, who was going to back-to-back league championships. Lexington got an amazing performance from Seven Allen, who had 3 TDs - a 25-yard TD run, 60 yard interception returned for a score and a 94 yard TD catch. Minutemen QB Joe Caudill ran for 3 scores too, as he found the endzone on a 3 yard run in the 1st half, but had two incredible runs down the sideline of 48 yards and 63 yards to fuel Lex to their 8th straight win to end the regular season. Ashland QB Nathan Bernhard ran for two scores and threw 3 TD passes, two to Gabe Baith and the other to Dakota Kruty in the loss. Next up: the playoffs for both teams, as the await the OHSAA to released the final computer points on Sunday.
