You read that right: the Baltimore Orioles opened up their wallet for once.

We come back from our stints on IR to watch the hot stove, put a bow on the Shepherd football season, check in on the NBA season, and catch up on the NFL (mostly complaining about the Ravens).

Ryan is back in his regular spot this week as we dig back into the NFL, especially the AFC where the Patriots are rolling, Lamar is back, and the Steelers are on the brink of needing to make some drastic decisions.

Luckily, a 4 game win streak from Shepherd football can keep the vibes afloat.

The NBA season is upon us and it’s starting out the only way they know how: getting the attention off of basketball.

Ryan swings by with Knicks takes but it’s Nick Arguelles out of the bullpen to talk about the NBA gambling scandal and to preview the upcoming season.

After an extended bye week, we've returned to take stock of the divisions around the NFL. The Colts might be for real. The Seahawks, and the Patriots (their QB) sure seem like they are. Unfortunately, the Chiefs are back. Meanwhile, the Jaguars have a corner playing WR and a dog playing quarterback, Jalen Hurts turned into a pumpkin again, the Bills are tissue soft.

Shepherd’s defense is cooked. The Ravens got dominated in the trenches. The Steelers only beat the Patriots off turnovers. WVU couldn’t meet the standard of “just don’t be horrible”.

At least some other teams had some fun this weekend.

The football went better than expected for us as fans this weekend...except the Steelers. We break down the controversial Shepherd loss to Slippery Rock, WVU's win over Pitt, and see whatever findings week can get out of a 2 game NFL sample size.

NFL Week 1 is in the books and it was full of excitement. The Steelers and Jets had a shootout, the Ravens blew another lead, and the Dolphins look like they could hit rock bottom.

We go game-by-game to give our thoughts on the start of the season and give a quick look forward to week 2, Shepherd vs. Slippery Rock, and WVU vs Pitt.
