Maybe you have children who rely on you to keep them safe, loved, and healthy. Maybe you’re taking care of a parent or relative. Or maybe you just have friends who depend on you for support. If that’s you, I have an important question for you today…

Who takes care of you?

There is someone who thinks about you all the time.

Who loves you on your good days, and your worst days.

Who cries with you every time you cry.

The book of Isaiah in the Bible holds a message of promise for you. Today, God says…

See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.

God is the one who made you, He loves you, and He knows you even better than you know yourself. Will you let Him be your caregiver?

I’m sure you’ve noticed… advertisements for diet pills, anti-aging products, workouts that promise to make you look amazing in three weeks. I wish!

Taking care of your body- it’s a great thing. But no matter what we do to fix our appearance, there is only one solution for our inner state.

And that’s God.

He sees right through us to the deepest places of our hearts. This isn’t a product I’m selling. It’s a simple choice that you can make right now. Will you ask God to restore your inner being? Pray with me:

God, I’ve had enough of empty outward solutions. I want inner change that’s real. Please clean me out and help me to start again. I want to know You, and I will follow You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." Psalm 139:23-24

Everything from weight loss supplements to skin care, to ads for plastic surgery…a million ways to try to slow down the effects of time.

But isn’t it true— everyone alive on the Earth right now will one day be gone? That’s a fact. These bodies will not last forever. So instead of scrambling for youthful looks, why not think about what comes next?

Jesus spoke these words long ago:

…this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

This is good news! Good news for you and for all people. Put your faith in Jesus, the Son of God, and do it today!

It says…

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created the lights in the heavens. He never changes, and he never casts a shifting shadow.

What if all the good things in your life were actually from God, who loves you? Not only that… through Jesus, He gave His life to be close to you and set you free.

Wouldn’t you want to know Him? Wouldn’t you want to thank Him?

You can.

Will you try talking to Him? Just praying with me right now?

God, you are the source of everything good in my life. I invite you into my heart. Help me understand all that You’ve done for me, Jesus.

The hurtful words of a friend, moments of embarrassment, loss, and hurt. And it makes sense, right? It’s our brain’s way of helping us avoid danger and not repeat the pain.

But what if you could bring the heavy burdens—all the hurt of your past and release it? Jesus said this to His friends long ago, and He’s saying it to you today:

Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

God won’t erase your past or magically take away all pain, but because He loves you, He wants to carry it for you and give you true rest.

Asking about everything.

But do you know, there is a being who knows all things? He knows the tiniest hair on your head. He knows the galaxies beyond where even our telescopes can see.

The mind of God holds the answers to everything. Not just information, but wisdom, insight, relationship, love.

The God of the Bible is a real person. He’s a creator, a spirit, a father, and a friend.

You can talk to Him right now, wherever you are listening to my voice.

Just say, God, I want to know You. Help me understand who You are.

When you encounter the living God who loves you, your life will be changed.

"The very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." Luke 12:7

Maybe you have close friends or family who help you out when bad times come. Or maybe you’re doing your best to just cope with life’s struggles on your own.

Whatever the case may be, when troubles come, you can turn with confidence to God. He is the One with the power, and the desire, and the commitment to really help you. Whether you know Him or not, He’s already made you a promise—He’s just waiting for you to say yes.

Here’s what God’s book of truth says about His promise:

So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

This is a promise for you today. Come to God and find refuge.

It can be so jarring to be hurt or tricked by someone you love—someone you once trusted. And it can cause your trust in people to be deeply shaken.

But there’s someone who will never lie to you, never betray you, never let you down.

And it’s God.

God’s ancient book of wisdom says this:

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and then failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

No human could ever make those claims. But God, all-powerful and unchanging, is able to commit fully. And, you may not know it, but He is fully committed to you!

He loves you already, and He knows you since the world began. His arms are open, ready and waiting for you to come to know Him.
