À propos de cet audio

A FREE resource from FBC Cabool intended to promote biblical study AND Christian fellowship from house to house throughout the week. It is designed to be adaptable to your time of life and not be overwhelming for those who may have never done an in-home Bible Study. That means it will not be exhaustive, but it can be a jumping-off point for further study and discussion. Check each episode for discussion guides and additional resources.

  • The First Christmas Carol (Advent Week 1)
    Dec 2 2025

One of the most magical things about Christmas is its songs. While some of you may argue about when the right time is to start singing and listening to them, no one can deny the significance they have in the lives of those who grow up in North America. You don’t have to be a churchgoer to be familiar with Christmas Songs. We hear them playing in the stores throughout the holidays, we sing them in school, we listen to them at community events, and the list goes on and on. And while those songs may bring us sentimental cheer, if we are not careful, we can miss the meaning of the words we are singing.

Not sure what your favorite Christmas Carols are, but whichever ones they are, they are not as old as the one we are going to look at today. Hopefully, you and your group have already read Luke 1:39-55 before watching this, but if not, pause and take a moment to read it.
