Samson appeared to be a hero, but his story reveals a man marked by weakness, pride, and failure. Yet God still worked through him to accomplish His purposes. The reminder for us is clear: God does not require perfection to use us—He works through imperfect people by the power of His Spirit. Jesus is the true Hero, and our role is to trust and follow Him.

This Sunday we launch our new series, Samson: The Rise and Fall of a Hero. Samson’s story reminds us that even when God’s people drift, He is still at work—raising up leaders, working in unexpected ways, and showing that He alone is the true hero. As we begin looking at the life of Samson, our prayer is that the Spirit of God would stir in us to live faithfully, courageously, and fully surrendered to His Kingdom purposes.

Anger itself isn’t sinful—it’s what we do with it that makes the difference. Jesus got angry, but His anger was righteous—it cleared the way for healing, worship, and restoration.
