  • Eschatology (Pt 3 of 4): The Second Coming
    Nov 8 2025

    #millennium #revelation20

Four basic views on the 1,000 years in Revelation 20:

premillenial views: (the second coming of Christ is before the 1,000 years)

    1. Premillenialism- Christ's second coming will precede and inaugurate the 1,000 years, a golden age of peace on earth

    2. Dispensationalism- The church will be #raptured before the #tribulation after which Christ will return to earth to set up a 1000-year kingdom.

postmillenial views: (the second coming of Christ will be after the 1,000 years)

    3. Postmillenialism- Christ's second coming will be after an age where evil is largely suppressed and the world becomes more and more Christianized.

    4. Amillenialism- The 1,000 years is symbolic and represents the present church age, after which Christ returns.
