  • 26. The Real Me, Unfortunately
    Dec 8 2025

    Send us a text

This week we’re talking about the moments when the version of ourselves we thought we’d outgrown comes bursting through the door like, “Hey girl, remember me?”

From jealousy to teenage spirals to emotional regression to accidentally telling your therapist you love him — today’s episode is a gentle drag, a group confession, and a reminder that the “real you” isn’t the problem. The shame is.

We read your long, emotional, chaotic, complicated listener emails and talk about why your honest self isn’t something to hide… even when she’s deeply inconvenient.

Come laugh, cry, cringe, and breathe through it, babe.
    It’s I Hear You, Babe.

Welcome to Episode 25, babe — the “I swear I didn’t forget you” episode.

This week is The Lost Emails — all the stories you’ve sent over the last few months that didn’t quite fit a theme or missed the timing but lived in my brain anyway.

    Some are funny.

    Some are tender.

Some are unhinged in the best way.

And all of them are so real.

This is one big love letter to you — the listeners — and everything you’ve trusted me with.

If you’ve been thinking about sharing your story, please don’t be shy. It’s always anonymous and it’s always welcome.

Send it to ihearyoubabepod@gmail.com — whether it’s a story for the pod or you just have something you want to get off your chest.

And if you want a special discount on SaltDrop (online or in-studio), just email info@thesaltdrop.com and say hi.

    Babe, I got you.

  • 24. Thank You, Next: Stories of Growth
    Nov 26 2025

    Send us a text

This week’s episode is my version of a gratitude episode… which means it is not polished, not Pinterest, and definitely not “10 things I’m thankful for” energy.

We’re talking about the things you’re actually grateful you survived.
    The friendships that got weird.
The jobs that tried to age you.
The relationships that looked fine from the outside but were quietly draining the life out of you.
The eras where you were everyone’s emergency contact, everyone’s therapist, everyone’s “strong one.”

I talk a little about the friend group turbulence in my own life (hi, sub-chats of sub-chats) and what happens when people put each other on pedestals and stop relating to the actual human underneath. Then we get into your emails — real, messy, thoughtful, funny as hell, and honestly really moving.

    It’s gratitude with boundaries.
It’s “thank you for the lesson, but the class is closed.”
It’s Thank You, Next in real time.

  • 23. Pedestals, Projections and The Ick
    Nov 18 2025

    Send us a text

This week we are talking about pedestals. Not the Greek kind. The emotional kind.

The “I met you three times and decided you are flawless and spiritually elevated” kind. The kind we build out of vibes, fantasy, loneliness and pure delulu energy.

I get into some of what has been happening in my own world with pedestaling inside friendships and what it does to you when people turn you into a symbol instead of a person. We talk about why pedestals are not love, they are projection, and why I would rather be known than worshipped.

And then we let the comedy special begin.

You sent me your best fall from grace stories. The exact moment the pedestal cracked and the ick moved into your body like a permanent resident. We cover baby talk at the dinner table, dusty moon water, empath frauds, angel number boys, giddy up taxi commands, sideways string cheese, and so much more chaos.

It is unhinged in the best way and honestly a tiny bit healing too.

  • 22. Comeback Stories & Community
    Nov 10 2025

    Send us a text

This week, Dino is in his comeback season—tech troubles, retrogrades, and all. From broken mics to old friendships revisited, he opens up about what it really means to return to yourself. Then, listener emails pour in with stories of resilience: the dancer rediscovering her rhythm, the mom reclaiming her body, the breakup glow-up, the friend group exit, and the apartment key that symbolized choosing peace over passion. It’s an episode about growth, grace, and the quiet power of coming back—on your own terms.

  • 21. No Shame New Morning
    Nov 3 2025

    Send us a text

Today we unpack your walk of shame and walk of no shame stories and start with something real. I talk about friendships shifting in adulthood, how love can be true and still feel out of sync, and the choice to stay kind while you figure it out. Then we dive into your emails: Barbie in Tribeca and the elevator ride from hell, a barefoot croissant on Marathon Sunday, the Thanksgiving kitchen in Pennsylvania, the woman who left her husband at 4 a.m. and found a new morning on Lafayette, the wrong apartment with a barking golden retriever, the jogger named Tyler, a bagel meet cute, the bridesmaid with a mimosa, the Vegas carpet, and a neighbor who turned embarrassment into grace with one sentence. Chaos and grace, laughter and relief. No shame, just a new day.

  • 20. The Delulu Episode
    Oct 26 2025

    Send us a text

Babe, let’s be honest — we’ve all had a delulu era.
The one where they were “just busy.”
Where one date became a whole fantasy.
Where you swore the universe was sending signs… and maybe it was.

In this episode of I Hear You, Babe, Dino reads six listener letters that prove we’re all a little delusional — and that’s okay. From a SaltDrop class crush to the “guy who hated cats,” these stories are funny, raw, and painfully relatable. Dino shares his own thoughts on hope, projection, and why believing in something (or someone) that never quite existed might actually be what keeps us human.

If you’ve ever built a love story in your head, confused chemistry for connection, or laughed through a spiral on your couch with Dude and Rocco nearby — this one’s for you.

Listen, laugh, cry, and maybe forgive your delulu self just a little.

Some friends give advice like it’s gospel. Others just pour the wine and let you spiral.

This week, we’re talking about that voice — the bestie who’s always sure she knows what’s best for you, the group chat that turns into a courtroom, the quiet friend who just says one sentence that changes everything.

From tequila-fueled bad ideas that somehow worked to the kind of hard truths that broke friendships and built new ones, these stories remind us that the loudest voice in the room isn’t always the right one — and that sometimes, the only advice worth taking is the one your own body whispers back.
