À propos de cet audio
This podcast explores the intersection of the Holy Bible and A Course in Miracles. One of ACIM’s central claims is that the world is a dream and the body an illusion, which appears to contradict the Bible’s teaching that God created the heavens and the earth and humanity in His image (Genesis 1:1; 1:27). But does this mean Christians and spiritual seekers cannot glean wisdom from ACIM? I don’t think so.
The purpose here is not to offer pat answers or to debate, but to discern. We seek the correlations between the Holy Bible and ACIM, asking the Holy Spirit to guide us into truth and show us what may be gleaned from both (John 16:13). As a Christian mystic who believes in the physical death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:3–4), I approach both texts through an incarnational lens—one that honors the material, physical world as God’s good creation (John 1:14).
The Bible speaks deeply about physical creation and humanity’s role in the restoration of all things in Christ (Romans 8:19–21; Colossians 1:19–20). ACIM speaks to the reality of living in Christ and seeing the world in light of the Reality revealed in Him. This podcast exists to discern how these two streams can meaningfully coexist.
I believe God can speak through voices outside of the Scriptures (Acts 17:22–28), and that Christ, who is risen and present with us always, continues to speak across many streams of thought (Matthew 28:20; Revelation 1:17–18). He may even use Helen Schucman to reveal something vital about grace and forgiveness for the good of the world.
This is a space for honest, open theological conversation—for those willing to wrestle with ideas, trust the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and move beyond black-and-white thinking. I do not come with all the answers. I come asking questions, seeking discernment, and inviting dialogue.
The goal is not certainty, but wonder; not rigidity, but faithfulness. Together, we explore how ACIM can be engaged in a way that honors the incarnation, the resurrection, and the goodness of God’s created world, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth.
