Birds and Nature was a captivating monthly publication from the Nature Study Publishing Company in Chicago, delighting readers from 1897 to 1907. This enchanting magazine featured a collection of short poems and vivid descriptions of birds, animals, and the wonders of nature, beautifully illustrated with color plates. Throughout its run, it underwent several title changes, including Birds, Birds and All Nature, and Nature and Art. In a unique twist, the June 1900 issue briefly transformed into Nature and Art, only to revert to Birds and Nature by September of that year, a title that would grace its pages until the end of its publication. - Summary by J.
