    Tim Nance grew up in New England, amid ice and snow, and was educated by a variety of untraditional means, from small town one-room schoolhouse to homeschool to private city school. Eventually, his family moved to Tennessee where his parents had roots. He studied literature, French, and education, receiving his Masters in Education before spending twenty years as an educator, again in a variety of places and ways: University and Community College, public and private high school, work in teaching ESL courses to students from Costa Rica and China, homeschooling groups, and church groups. He has a beautiful family with five children and loves reading great books and pursuing creative projects with them.
