    Paul Doyle dramatically changes his plea to guilty, after ploughing his car into the crowd at Liverpool FC’s victory parade.

    The 54-year-old admitted dangerous driving, affray, 17 charges of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, nine counts of causing GBH with intent and three counts of wounding with intent.

    Paul Doyle sobbed as he changed his pleas at Liverpool Crown Court.

  • Introducing... Liverpool Parade: The Paul Doyle Trial

    Liverpool football fans were in the city centre to watch the club's Premier League victory parade on 26th May 2025.

    Shortly after fans see the team bus pass, a car crashes into the crowd on Water Street. Over 130 people are injured.

    Paul Doyle is arrested. The former Royal Marine Commando from Liverpool is on trial for charges including dangerous driving and multiple counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has pleaded not guilty to 31 charges.

    In this series we’ll take you behind the scenes to look at how major criminal cases like this one play out, with the help of expert guests who reveal the inner workings and processes of crime and prosecution.

    The police quickly link him to a flat in London. When officers break down the door, they find blood everywhere. On the floors, the walls, the ceilings.

    There’s a bloodstained hammer, and a chest freezer in the hallway. Only when officers open that freezer do they truly know what they’re dealing with.

    Yostin Mosquera is a killer. He’s got two bodies on his hands and big decisions to make. He books a man-with-a-van saying he needs to move some heavy cargo.

    But where is he going and what is he going to do with the bodies? He heads for Bristol – parts of Paul Longworth’s body in a silver trunk, parts of Albert Alfonso’s body in a red suitcase.

    He ends up in Clifton, a leafy suburb of Bristol. He makes his way onto the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge where he raises the suspicions of security staff. They’re about to make a terrible discovery.

  • 2. Porn Performer Turned Killer

    Exploring the events which led to the murders of Paul Longworth and Albert Alfonso's in their west London flat.

    While Albert is doing a lifeguard shift in a nearby gym, Columbian porn performer Yostin Mosquera searches the internet for, “Where on the head is a knock fatal?”. Then he takes a hammer to the skull of Paul Longworth.

    Once dead, Mosquera puts Paul’s body in storage space under the bed. When Albert returns from work, the pair start filming an extreme sex session.

    It turns into a brutal attack by Mosquera on Albert – captured on four cameras in the bedroom.

    Yostin Mosquera, 35, is been found guilty of the murders of Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, who lived together in Shepherds Bush in London.

    Mosquera is an online porn maker from Columbia who meets Alfonso online through videos of extreme sex, something that eventually brings Mosquera to London.

    As Alfonso sends money, funds flights and plans day trips out in the capital, Mosquera is already making plans.

    Uncovering the story of how the body parts of the two men from Shepherds Bush in London came to be discovered in suitcases left on Clifton Suspension Bridge.

    The court case followed a trail of extreme sex, where one of the murders was captured on camera.

  • Sentencing

    In the summer of 2024, three young girls are murdered whilst at a dance class in Southport, Merseyside. 10 others are also injured in the knife attack, including eight children.

    Teenager Axel Rudakubana, arrested at the scene, is in court accused of murder, attempted murder and a terrorism charge.

    As his trial begins, he unexpectedly enters guilty pleas to all charges.

    Jailed for a minimum of 52 years, the judge says it's highly unlikely Rudakubana will ever be released.
