We are joined by our good friend Karen McRee in today's episode. She is the owner of So. G Coffee Roaster in South Glastonbury CT and after a separation from her husband received the devastating news of her brain & lung cancer diagnosis. Karen's ability to continue to let love in is inspiring and teaches us all to live life to the fullest everyday.
You're single and dealing with illness.. when is the right time to date? Is there a right time? I saw my breast cancer diagnosis as the perfect time to let love in again. Katie's daughter has Type One Diabetes and although it's extremely challenging for two households, has been able to leave space for a new relationship.
There is no handbook. There are no rules. We are here to live, love and give back to those in our community that need us most.
It's our absolute delight to complete our first season with this episode and the very idea that NOW is the perfect time to let love in.
