Rob Hirst - what a force of nature. Drummer and songwriter extraordinaire with Midnight Oil, Hirst passed away this week gone and we play a few Oils tracks he wrote as well as a couple of solo projects Ghostwriters and The Break. Elsewhere we continue playing cool songs from 2025 with the odd new release. On Roll Call this week Greta and Scott acknowledge the passing and legacy of Rob Hirst, one of the great drummers, showmen and lyricists of our time as well as a decent vocalist. Hirst was releasing music just 2 months before his death featuring his daughters Gabrielle and Lex and we hear one of those tracks early in today's show which opens with a couple of classic Midnight Oil songs.
