The ladies discuss the mental health toll it takes to raise a child, the lossof identity, and the internal conflicts that mothers often have to deal with alone.
Destiny is candid about her own journey as a new mother, thechanges in friendship dynamics, the expectations imposed on her by society, and how seeking the help of a nanny was the best decision for her and her family.
In this interview, you’ll learn:
- The impact of “Mom Guilt” post-partum.
- Seeking help and not suffering in silence.
- The loss of identity, friends, and freedom.

Whether you are new to the journey of motherhood or you’re a seasoned mother, motherhood has its share of challenges and blessings. It is important to understand the mental, physical, and psychological shifts that take place when becoming a mother. Do not allow societal expectations and pop culture influences to dictate how you should be or show up in the world as a mother. Listen to your body, seek help, and maintain a supportive village.
