As a student of Woodford County Public Schools, Kids Win when they are able to express thoughts and ideas effectively using different communication skills, actively listen to and embrace diverse perspectives, and demonstrate awareness, sensitivity, concern, and respect to connect with others’ feelings, opinions, experiences, and culture. In this episode, Superintendent Adkins joins students from Huntertown Elementary to discuss what it means to be an Empathetic Communicator and express their thoughts to their classmates and beyond to a larger audience. Along with her students, Principal Kaiser shares a little insight on how Huntertown Elementary staff and students are embracing the Portrait of a Learner to help Kids Win in Woodford County Public Schools.
