  • Why Has Ellen Greenberg’s Case Been Buried for 14 Years? Corruption or Cover-Up?
    Sep 10 2025
Why Has Ellen Greenberg’s Case Been Buried for 14 Years? Corruption or Cover-Up?

For 14 years, Ellen Greenberg’s death has sat in legal limbo. After being ruled a suicide despite 20 stab wounds, her case has been passed from agency to agency, each refusing to take responsibility. The District Attorney recused himself, the Attorney General’s office punted it back, and county prosecutors declined to act. The result: no arrests, no suspect, and no justice.

In this segment of Hidden Killers Live with Tony Brueski, former prosecutor and defense attorney Eric Faddis joins the discussion to unravel how the system has failed Ellen Greenberg. Why did the medical examiner reverse an initial homicide ruling after a private meeting with police? Why have officials fought against reopening the case despite mounting evidence? And is this incompetence — or something more deliberate?

The Greenberg family has fought tirelessly for answers, but every attempt to force accountability has been stalled or buried. We explore the political dimensions of the case, including questions about then–Attorney General Josh Shapiro, now Governor of Pennsylvania, and whether connections or corruption played a role in shutting down the investigation.

This is more than a case about one woman’s death. It’s about what happens when a justice system chooses to protect itself instead of the people it serves.

  • Ellen Greenberg Case Bombshell: The Door Lock, Missing Guard & No Fingerprints
    Sep 10 2025
Ellen Greenberg Case Bombshell: The Door Lock, Missing Guard & No Fingerprints

The mystery of Ellen Greenberg’s death doesn’t end with her wounds or her fiancé’s 911 call. When investigators looked at the scene, basic questions about evidence and eyewitnesses were ignored or dismissed. And to this day, those contradictions remain unexplained.

In this segment of Hidden Killers Live with Tony Brueski, we examine the many red flags in the case. Sam Goldberg claimed he couldn’t enter the apartment because the swing-bar lock was latched from the inside — a fact investigators used to dismiss the idea of an intruder. Yet the photos of the door damage don’t match his story. To make matters worse, the apartment’s security guard later said he never assisted Sam in breaking the door, directly contradicting Sam’s account.

And then there’s the evidence that was never collected at all. Police failed to fingerprint either of the two knives found at the scene. They didn’t dust the apartment for prints. A professional cleanup was authorized within hours, wiping away anything else that might have been found.

Ellen’s family has spent more than a decade asking for a proper investigation. Instead, they’ve been met with stonewalling and excuses. This conversation unpacks the missing fingerprints, the questionable door lock evidence, and the unexplained engagement ring left on the counter — all details that point to a case that was shut down before it ever had a chance to begin.

  • Ellen Greenberg 911 Call: Fiancé’s Shocking Words Under the Microscope
    Sep 10 2025
Ellen Greenberg 911 Call: Fiancé’s Shocking Words Under the Microscope

The 911 call made by Ellen Greenberg’s fiancé, Sam Goldberg, remains one of the most scrutinized pieces of evidence in this mysterious case. When he entered their apartment, he claimed to have found Ellen on the kitchen floor, covered in blood. Yet the way he described what he saw — and the words he chose in the moment — raised more questions than answers.

In this segment of Hidden Killers Live with Tony Brueski, we play and dissect the entire 911 call. Why did Sam hesitate when asked to begin CPR? Why did he initially describe Ellen’s injuries as a fall or a bump on the head, only later “discovering” a knife in her chest? And why did his narrative shift so dramatically within the span of a single phone call?

Our panel breaks down every line, comparing the call to real trauma responses witnessed by EMTs. Typically, family members in true emergencies are frantic, incoherent, and desperate to save their loved one. But Sam’s tone seemed controlled, almost rehearsed, with strange detours into alibis rather than panic.

This is not about assigning guilt. Sam Goldberg has never been charged in connection with Ellen’s death. But his 911 call has become central to understanding why so many believe Ellen Greenberg’s case is not a suicide at all, but a homicide that was swept under the rug.

  • Ellen Greenberg’s “Suicide” or Brutal Murder? The Day Everything Went Wrong
    Sep 10 2025
Ellen Greenberg’s “Suicide” or Brutal Murder? The Day Everything Went Wrong

On a snowy January afternoon in Philadelphia, 27-year-old teacher Ellen Greenberg was found dead in her apartment with 20 stab wounds — including multiple deep injuries to the back of her neck and head. Authorities ruled it a suicide. But from the very first look, nothing about this case made sense.

In this segment of Hidden Killers Live with Tony Brueski, we revisit Ellen’s final day. Her fiancé Sam Goldberg says he left for the gym, only to return later and find the swing-bar lock engaged from the inside. When he finally entered, Ellen was on the floor with a knife buried in her chest. The medical examiner initially called it what it clearly looked like: homicide. But within hours, that ruling was flipped to suicide, leaving a family blindsided and a city questioning how such a conclusion could ever hold up.

This discussion explores the timeline, the shocking details of Ellen’s wounds, and the implausibility of the suicide theory. How can a woman stab herself 20 times — severing her spinal cord in the process — and still be written off as a suicide? And why did authorities rush to close the case instead of securing it as a crime scene?

Join us as we examine the evidence and the contradictions that continue to haunt the Greenberg family’s fight for justice.

  • Ellen Greenberg Mystery & Donna Adelson Verdict: Shocking True Crime Revelations
    Sep 10 2025
Ellen Greenberg Mystery & Donna Adelson Verdict: Shocking True Crime Revelations

In this powerful edition of Hidden Killers Live with Tony Brueski, Stacy Cole, and Todd Michaels, we dive deep into two of the most disturbing and high-profile true crime cases in America today.

First, we revisit the mysterious death of 27-year-old Philadelphia teacher Ellen Greenberg. Found with 20 stab wounds, including multiple to the back of her neck and head, Ellen’s death was inexplicably ruled a suicide. We walk through her final day, analyze her fiancé Sam Goldberg’s infamous 911 call, examine the suspicious door lock evidence, and highlight the shocking failures in the police investigation — including the lack of fingerprinting and the rushed apartment cleanup. With political pressure and prosecutorial pass-offs stretching this case out for 14 years, the Greenberg family is still demanding the justice that’s been denied to them for more than a decade.

Then we turn to Florida, where the Adelson family saga has rocked the true crime world. Donna Adelson has now been convicted in the murder-for-hire plot that ended the life of Florida State law professor Dan Markel. With the guilty verdict in place, the spotlight shifts to her daughter Wendy and husband Harvey. Were they active participants, silent enablers, or simply too close to walk away? Defense attorney and podcaster Bob Motta joins the discussion to analyze Donna’s trial, Wendy’s damning testimony, and Harvey’s passive presence as the family unravels under the weight of the conspiracy.

From Philadelphia to Tallahassee, these stories reveal what happens when justice is delayed, when evidence is ignored, and when family power and connections are wielded against the truth. Join the conversation, share your thoughts, and demand accountability with us.
