    In a four-page court order that is one for the ages, Judge Steven Merryday "struck" for the record Donald Trump's complaint that he filed in his absurd $15 billion defamation suit against The New York Times.Judge Merryday, appointed to the federal bench by President George H.W. Bush. eviscerates Trump's legal filing, saying it does not comport with the Rules of Civil Procedure. The judge notes: "The reader must endure an allegation of 'the desperate need to defame with a partisan spear rather than report with an authentic looking glass' and an allegation that 'the false narrative about 'The Apprentice' was just the tip of Defendants' melting iceberg of falsehoods.' This pressure to indict her is being applied, notwithstanding the fact that there is not "sufficient evidence supporting such charges".     Hate speech is protected by the First Amendment's free speech rights. However, Attorney General Pam Bondi, either not knowing or not caring about this constitutional protection, expressly threatened to use the powers of the Department of Justice to "target" people who engage in hate speech. What's worse, when she tried to issue what some have called a "walk back", she neither corrected nor retracted her initial constitutional blunder.

But as Politico just reported: "DOJ backs off claims about Guatemalan children it sought to deport".The case involves parents who were located in Guatemala but who had children in the United States. In a staggering display of lying to a court, a DOJ attorney named Drew Ensign told a judge that "all of the parents and guardians" in Guatemala wanted their children deported from the US back to Guatemala.It turns out that NONE of the parents and guardians of children said any such thing.     And more shoes are about to drop, as the lawyers for Epstein's estate have indicated that they will continue to produce documents to Congress on a rolling basis.
