what if the money IS the relationship test? Because it is. hahahaha 2025 Bachelor in Paradise has come to a close and Karen & Kayleigh watched both the final episode AND the weird low-budget podcast/youtube reunion so that we can talk about it with you. Two couples make it to the end and, while they resisted the lure of a quarter of a million dollars, they did find love. Awwww. And they still got that cash money in the end. (just not all of it) Plus, we see an engagement. At the reunion, Wells hosts some of the folks who were on the show (I guess everyone they could fit onto some sort of stage that looked like it was built out of old pallets, like you see people do on youtube). As a group, they start off being polite, but eventually they start GETTING REAL -- just like they did in the reality pioneering days on the Real World. (see what I did there, Gen X?)

Kayleigh and Karen have enjoyed podcasting about the Bachelor franchise for the past several years, but our lives have gotten exponentially busier since that first time we started talking about Tayshia and the Covid gang. We may decide to talk about this show sometime in the future, or we may not, but know that we have appreciated you as an audience member since our first podcast was released, and we truly thank you for accepting our roses.

In this week's episode of Bachelor in Paradise 2025, the couples had a nice dinner and then were sent out into the jungle for a 'glamping' expedition that was intended to give them a taste of what it would be like for these couples 'in the real world.' Next week: finale!

I find I'm not all that great at ranting on a solo podcast- bear with me as I seek to express my indignation at "bro code" disguised as integrity. I'll probably get mad all over again next week when Kayleigh returns and we can finally discuss the utter nonsense. Bailey finally learns that Jeremy is a horrible person who didn't bother to tell her that he's jonesing for Susie even while ripping Bailey to shreds for going on a date with Andrew. Bailey never deserved this and deserves better. *eye-splitting rage resumes*

Bachelor in Paradise 2025 episode 6. Karen is gone so Kayleigh is flying solo! Some couples are getting stronger and some are definitely showing some cracks. And someone needs to tell Bailey that Jeremy is into Susie more than her.
