 Leland is an artist and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He’s written for (and with) huge artists including Troy Sivan, Selena Gomez, Charli XCX, Daya and Muna amongst many others. He also works on RuPaul’s Drag Race as a co-writer for some of the songs and guest stars on a few episodes! We got chatting in a corner of a Grammy party in 2023 where he told me about his deep love for France and Paris. In this interview we learn what biopic helped him hear how music can be deeply tied to emotion, and which playlist helped him fall in love with French production.
