The Calgary Flames will be a playoff team or a rebuilding team after Rasmus Andersson, Hunter Brzustewicz and Dustin Wolf play a current NHL wild card team, the San Jose Sharks, potentially without Mikael Backlund.

The C of Red has extended to the road with the Flames' Dads Tour in full force, and the Flames have been successful over the past couple of trips, something Blake Coleman hopes will stay the case. The Sharks will be without the injured Will Smith and Phillipp Kurashev, so San Jose will have to rely on Macklin Celebrini. It's a critical game with back-to-back Battle of Alberta match-ups scheduled in the coming weeks.
