    Luis Matos, Heliot Ramos, and Marco Luciano have brought a jolt of energy (and an influx of wins) to the San Francisco Giants as injury replacements over the last week or two. The trio of young Giants are essentially replacing Austin Slater, Nick Ahmed, and Michael Conforto, who are all on the injured list.     The San Francisco Giants were in need of a spark, and instead they got a supernova. Luis Matos, recently called up from Triple-A as a fill-in for one of the Giants' many injured players, drove in 17 runs in a six-game span on his way to NL Player of the Week honors. No Giants player had accomplished the feat since Brandon Belt in 2018.Matos wasn't the only SF Giants player to step up, as the team completed a three-game sweep of the Rockies and has suddenly won four straight. The Giants are just 1.5 games out of a playoff spot and have the best record of any non-playoff team in the NL. The Giants appear on paper to be better than their record—even after a 6-3 homestand—so hopefully they can keep the momentum going through Pittsburgh and New York on this upcoming road trip. The SF Giants have gone 15-10 at home but have struggled mightily on the road so far in 2024.Hot starts for Matos, Heliot Ramos, and Marco Luciano call into question what the Giants should do once they start to get some of their injured players back. Jung Hoo Lee is out of the season, sadly, but Austin Slater, Michael Conforto, and Nick Ahmed should be able to return at some point in the not-too-distant future. How can the Giants send any of these young players down if they're performing this well? It's a tough question to answer.
