Josh Hoover staying at TCU already felt like the most likely outcome, but LaNorris Sellers returning to South Carolina only made it more likely. Kendal Briles' departure was the biggest obstacle to Hoover stayiing, and now that Briles has his QB with the Gamecocks, that appeal is no longer.

TCU wasted no time replacing Kendal Briles hiring UConn OC Gordon Sammis on the same day Briles was officially hired by South Carolina. Sammis comes to the Horned Frogs with the tools to fix TCU’s 2025 fatal flaws. Sammis’ offense had all the things you could have asked for in an offense, so it’s hard to not get excited about the hire.

Sonny Dykes is considering calling plays in the bowl game, but that opportunity should go to Malcolm Kelly. He’s shown great player development and this opportunity could help Kelly in the long run.

Simple. Teams need to stop opting out of bowl games.
