The Orlando Magic made what was likely their final move of the offseason, bringing back Moe Wagner on a one-year, $5-million deal. The Magic get to keep a critical part of their franchise and culture while giving him the chance to prove himself and solidify his place with the team.

Bringing Wagner back was key because the Magic have begun shedding players to improve. They let a key culture player go in Cole Anthony. While it was a vital move to improve the product on the court, the Magic will have a tough time replacing the connection he brought to the team and the community.

The Orlando Magic made Jase Richardson their big first-round selection. They hope he can be a spark off the bench.

Free agency has arrived for the Orlando Magic as they made their move to maximize their flexibility and give themselves the best chance to add the last key player to reach contention.

The Orlando Magic made another bold move and shook up the NBA Draft, trading up to take Noah Penda in the second round. The move may not be the one that propels the team into contention but the aggression to get their player is a certain sign the team is going for it.

Penda is a versatile wing that fits the Magic's DNA. It is clear why they identified him as a trade-up option. He is someone who can contribute on the defensive end and wants to add on that end.

The Orlando Magic needed shooting, scoring and playmaking. They found all three in Jase Richardson with the 25th pick after his stunning fall. The entire draft world seems to believe the Magic aced their pick.
