The Tennessee Titans saw rookie tight end Gunnar Helm break the franchise record for catches by a rookie tight end and the yards record is likely to fall as well. This is just an example of how Helm has quickly become Cam Ward's most reliable target and the most promising rookie weapon from the 2025 NFL Draft class for the team. Helm and Ward can terrorize the NFL for years to come. The offensive line has had impressive showings in recent weeks and while there are explanations for that, there is a natural cohesion being formed that can give the Titans a major boost going into 2026. Finally, the thing that will really give the Titans a boost next year will be some high-end rookies and securing the best pick possible is still on the top of fans' minds. With three weeks left in the season, the Titans are still in a great spot to get a very high pick, if not the first overall, but they will need some help.

The Tennessee Titans have to let Cam Ward struggle. Too often Mike McCoy thinks he is protecting Ward and helping the football team, but it is actually the opposite. Being ultra-conservative hurts everyone, especially Cam, because he doesn't get to experience anything. Although the conversation around Cam Ward is very negative right now, the truth is he has shown some major strengths and has improved some areas of his game already. Those things should have fans excited about Ward moving forward even amidst some struggles. Finally, the Titans run game has made improvement over the last two weeks, rushing for over 300 yards total, but look closer and it is clear that a big reason for that success was something the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers have in common.

The Tennessee Titans got handled by the San Francisco 49ers, but the continued struggles of Cam Ward made the loss sting even more. Ward continues to miss on throws deep down the field and it is a pattern that has developed throughout the season. It doesn't mean the jury is out on Ward, but it is certainly an weakness that must improve next year and the Titans can help Ward as well. Overall though, this is the worst Titans team ever and watching them each week is a disaster. The conservative coaching and lack of answers on defense, combined with providing opportunities for the other team to basically have a party every week, make this season specifically excruciating. However, Gunnar Helm continues to shine and he along with the Titans offensive line, deserve some love for this performance.

The Tennessee Titans got their second win of the season last Sunday, but Cam Ward did not have one of his best games. Ward will need to bounce back this week against the San Francisco 49ers. It will be a tough ask as the 49ers come off their bye, but the pass rush issues of the 49ers also gives Ward a chance to be as comfortable in the pocket as he has all season. On the other side of the ball, the 49ers offense runs through Christian McCaffery and slowing him down could lead to a great opportunity to win. That goal is easier said than done, but the 49ers have surprisingly struggled in that regard this year. Finally, 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh could be a potential head coach candidate for the Titans and Brian Peacock gives us a preview of Saleh as an option.

Cam Ward was not pleased with his performance after the Tennessee Titans defeated the Cleveland Browns and now some are using it to say Ward's attitude was selfish or that of a diva, but Ward's pursuit of greatness should not only be accepted, but encouraged as the Titans need someone like Ward to shake them out of their despair. Ward is also right to expect much better out of himself as the reality is he did not play well against the Browns and his expectations for the rest of the season should be higher. The team should have a higher standard the rest of the year as well as they have a chance to play spoiler in a major way.
