USC was close to being a 9-win team in 2024 and if they want to win 9 or more games in 2025, they'll need to learn lessons from their 1-4 record on the road. The Trojans held 4th quarter leads in every game but one in 2024 and very should have won at least 3 of the 4 they lost. I talk about which lessons Lincoln Riley and team can take away from losing so many close games in 2025, and how it will help them in 2025.
I believe the defense will be USC's strength this season, however, there are a couple of concerns that I want to point out with the linebackers and secondary. In the 2nd segment, I list my concerns at cornerback, at linebacker and with the safeties.
I like to talk about recruiting, even during the current dead period. I have a few names to keep an eye on. July 4th could be another big day for USC's class of 2026.
