Today is “Longhorns Monday,” the Texas Longhorns football team has made an addition to their coaching staff, hiring Jabbar Juluke, a former Florida running back coach. He was named the associate head coach and running back coach. The Longhorns women’s basketball team defeated Baylor 89-54 yesterday with big games from Madison Booker and Jordan Lee. Fernando Mendoza wins the Heisman Trophy Award, and Texas safety Michael Taaffe wins the Wuerrfel Trophy for the college player who best combines exemplary community service and academics. The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Minnesota Vikings 34-26, two and a half games behind division leader Philadelphia Eagles, leaving a 1% chance of making the playoffs.
