Alonzo is a native from Carthage, Mississippi who soon moved to Jackson, Mississippi where he found himself in a bigger environment and exposed to a slightly different climate than rural America. Alonzo grew up seeing himself as a tattoo artist as a child and as he talks to us he explains how this dream was created but not his soon to be reality. Alonzo is very intellectual and has many talents. Although he learned to be so diversified and gifted, he experienced a shift in his early 20’s. This shift reflected from his environment of relationships , habits, and the personality he developed trying to be like other people. Alonzo breaks down the process of getting back to who he is and escaping who he thought he was supposed to be.
