Jonathan and Juan talk about how Miami-Dade is fighting property fraud, which is when someone files a fraudulent lien to transfer the property from a rightful owner to a fictitious organization or elsewhere. Miami-Dade has a property fraud notification system. They also talk about what Juan is most excited about and it’s transparency. As a comptroller, he has four duties: head county investor, head county auditor, custodian of funds and accountant for the board of county commissioners.
