Today I’ll be exploring the importance of maintaining ourwell-being and self-reflective practices, and particularly to promote confidence and that sense of self-empowerment that we get from doing those things for ourselves.

I suppose it's looking at building resilience and nurturingour capacity to self-reflect and how that can take us on that path to a real sense of inner confidence and self-empowerment.

So, wellbeing is not just about what we do on aday-to-day basis, it's also that concept of well-being within so the capacity to self-reflect, that capacity to know ourselves more fully, and how that then breeds more confidence within ourselves and gives us that senseof autonomy and self-empowerment.

The reason why these things matter today particularly is because there's so much going on around us, we have many external influences like social media, commercialism and materialism, all of which can potentially get us to a point of burnout or emotional fatigue.

So it's important to nurture our own wellbeing from within. I suppose the message I want you to take away from today's podcast is that this is about learning to slow down so that you can build yourself up from within.

It's important not to dismiss well-being. As there are key aspects to your wellbeing, including your mental well-being, your emotional well-being, your physical well-being, your social well-being, and your spiritual well-being.

Can you ask yourself how are you tending to all those parts of yourselves currently? Because you know we're not just one thing, every one of us is made-up of different things that feed into who we are as a person, the more we can tend to what it is for us that is important, and tend to those things we better we will feel in day-to-day life, and within ourselves.

By tending to these areas, we start to create inner conditions that give birth to that sense of confidence, and then in turn that enables you to thrive day-to-day in your life. So through my own experience, I found one of the important aspects in this process of building and tending to your well-being is starting to recognise the role that self-reflection plays in informing, influencing and helping you discover what's going on for you and what's important for you.

Building a practice of self-reflection, meditation and journaling is a powerful process to this end. So, if you would like to get a little taste of this process why not try out my complimentary Release Meditation and Reflection Bundle on my Club Meditate webpage.
