The Declaration of Independence is one of the greatest political documents ever written. And now…I think we need another one. This one is not written to a tyrannical king, but to our fellow countrymen…if we can even call them that anymore. I don't say this to be divisive, I say it because it's the truth. And while all of us can accept that the truth can be divisive at times…for those who use offense as a substitute for an argument, truth is divisive all the time…because your real problem is not with my tone or privilege or any other contrivance, your problem is with objective reality. For such a person, the truth will always be divisive. So here it is…my Declaration of Independence from you.
