  • S2 Ep2282: "The Paradox of Peace and Suffering in the Christian Life" | Malcolm Cox | Quiet Time Coaching Episode 572
    May 22 2025
I have been reading and studying about the concept of Sabbath, and, more broadly, rest. It seems there is a paradox in the Christian life. How to embrace both the peace of Christ and his suffering.

  • S2 Ep2282: "Breaking the Hurry Habit" | Malcolm Cox | Quiet Time Coaching Episode 571
    May 15 2025
Reflecting on a video by John Ortberg I watched recently, a simple but piercing truth struck me: hurry is a symptom. It’s also a habit—but more than that, it’s a signal. The deeper question is, what is hurry trying to achieve? And what is it trying to cover?

  • S2 Ep2279: Teaching Tip 414 | "Your Voice Matters". Part 19 - Speak Up! Tips for new and inexperienced speakers | Malcolm Cox
    May 13 2025
Today, I simply want to give you an exhortation.

Speak up, because your voice matters!

    Isaiah 55.10-11
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
