    Pastor Candice joined New Life Lutheran in May 2021 as Spiritual Director. A former computer engineer, she followed her calling into ministry, earning her degree at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2016 and completing Lutheran studies through Luther Seminary. She has served at Triumphant Love (intern), Shepherd of the Hills (Family Ministry), and Immanuel, Pflugerville (transition pastor), and was previously a guest preacher at New Life. Beyond the church, Candice volunteers with Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT) and advocates with Texas Impact. She loves running, science fiction—especially time-travel movies—and enjoys life with her husband of 23 years and their three children.
