    These energies are not about gender, but about the two forces we all carry within us. The problem is, when they are out of balance, we feel stressed, and eventually, physical symptoms.

    Here’s the problem: Western culture celebrates the masculine — the doing, the achieving, the logic, the linear — and devalues the feminine — the being, the feeling, the creating, the cyclical. After decades of running on masculine overdrive, midlife and menopause hit like a wall.

  • 8: You Won't Fix Your Menopause Symptoms Unless You Do This Too

    If you feel like you're going crazy...like, with midlife irritability that you know isn't "you", or even rage events that are nonsensical - this episode is for you.

    A friend recently said to me, "I felt like I was going crazy...I literally felt like someone had taken over my brain. I wasn't acting like myself and I couldn't control it".

    This is the side of menopause that people joke about, "my mother is going crazy". It's actually a horrible, out-of-control feeling if you're going through it. And, a shameful kind of feeling.

    Honestly, menopause is a reckoning.

    Body-focused medical systems we have in the Western world do not offer ANY support for the emotional symptoms of peri-menopause. In fact, they don't even acknowledge them.

    So, we're going to bring these things to the light. Today, we're digging into the emotional and spiritual symptoms of midlife, that make it feel impossible to get through it with grace.

  • 3: Why Rest Feels Impossible: The Hidden Forces Draining Midlife Women

    If you’re a woman over 40 juggling work, aging parents’ doctor’s appointments, and the constant pressure to be more, do more, give more - while battling symptoms like 2am wakeups, heart palpitations, or constant low energy - you may be caught in the Pronatalism Pressure Trap.

    Pronatalism is the belief that a woman’s worth is tied to motherhood, and it collides with patriarchy’s obsession with productivity to leave you over-functioning, undervalued, and completely drained.

    If you’re stuck here, you’ve probably been:

    • Feeling invisible or less relevant now that you are losing your fertility.
    • Trying to slow down but feeling guilty
    • Hiding your peri-menopause symptoms, especially at work.

    You might think that in today’s world, we can talk about menopause. We say, think again.

    Of course, it’s become more normal to share the hot flash humour with your friends or how hard it has suddenly become to get a night’s sleep without a 2-hour wake-up in the middle of it.

    At the same time, 90% of women in their 40’s and 50’s do not know the symptoms of menopause, research shows that the majority of women hide their symptoms at work for fear of judgement, and many women still carry around a lot of shame around hitting this developmental milestone.

    In this episode, we unpack where this silence and shame came from, how it plays out in life and work, and what to do about it.

    We believe that the more women who release the shame and share their experiences of aging and menopause, the more women will actually age gracefully, with fewer symptoms and more inspiration.
