À propos de cet audio
Good morning and happy Monday.
I am in quite a somber space this week and offering a deeper level of vulnerability in order to sustain a sense of sanity, a sense of community, and a sense of wellbeing.
Thus, today's podcast episode: "Mourning Monday."
In the wake of recent administration decisions, I've watched years of equity-driven work come to a halt. One by one, long-term contracts—partnerships designed to broaden access and inclusion in STEM—were issued stop work orders.
Work that was changing lives.
 Work that was building bridges.
 Work that mattered.
And just like that, it stopped.
Listen in as I process the seven stages of grief and try to make sense of what's been lost and what's still possible.
My hope is that by modeling and by being vulnerable about my struggles, my fears, and the ways that I'm able to move forward, it gives you permission to do so as well. So this week, I'm naming the fear, honoring the grief, and choosing resilience.
Because resilience is the path forward and the route to preserving our brilliance.
