    Richard Cottingham was one of the most vicious and notorious serial killers in American history. His reign of terror lasted 13 years. From 1967-1980 he terrorized the New York and New Jersey areas. Dubbed the "Torso Killer", he has 11 confirmed victims but is tied to 85-100 victims per his claims and suspicions by law enforcement.

Notorious New Jersey & New York serial killer Richard Cottingham aka "The Torso Killer" confessed to the murders of the two young teenagers. He was long suspected of the murders but the police needed a confession from Cottingham. And some 47 years later they got it. We at the Murder, Mystery & Whiskey Podcast are thrilled that these young girls and their families are getting justice.

    What was supposed to be a routine trip to the mall for Mary Ann Pryor and Lorraine Kelly turned out to be their untimely demise. The two North Bergen teens planned a trip to the Garden State Plaza on August 9th, 1974. On August 14th, their bodies were found in a wooded area behind Rolling Ridge Road in Montvale, New Jersey, beaten, assaulted and strangled. The murders still remain unsolved.
