    Richard Cottingham was one of the most vicious and notorious serial killers in American history. His reign of terror lasted 13 years. From 1967-1980 he terrorized the New York and New Jersey areas. Dubbed the "Torso Killer", he has 11 confirmed victims but is tied to 85-100 victims per his claims and suspicions by law enforcement.

    A couple of days after our first episode aired about the unsolved murders of Mary Ann Pryor & Lorraine Kelly, we received some breaking news. Notorious New Jersey & New York serial killer Richard Cottingham aka "The Torso Killer" confessed to the murders of the two young teenagers. He was long suspected of the murders but the police needed a confession from Cottingham. And some 47 years later they got it. We at the Murder, Mystery & Whiskey Podcast are thrilled that these young girls and their families are getting justice.

    After being tried, convicted and executed for the triple murder of one of Morristown’s most respected families, the story of Antoine Le Blanc should have been over. But his public hanging on the town green was just the beginning of a story so gruesome & twisted that Morristown residents still jump scare at its telling nearly two centuries after the incident. It is said that the remains of Antoine Le Blanc may rest in pieces, to this day, amongst some family heirlooms inside some of the most beautiful homes in the state of New Jersey.

  • Unsolved: The Garden State Plaza Murders

    What was supposed to be a routine trip to the mall for Mary Ann Pryor and Lorraine Kelly turned out to be their untimely demise. The two North Bergen teens planned a trip to the Garden State Plaza on August 9th, 1974. On August 14th, their bodies were found in a wooded area behind Rolling Ridge Road in Montvale, New Jersey, beaten, assaulted and strangled. The murders still remain unsolved.
