    In the movie ‘Civil War’ that shows a 21st century America ripped apart by insurgents and ideology, we watch as a militia soldier interrogates a group of Liberal journalists, asking each of them one-by-one a question. “What kind of American are you?”, he says. The reply comes back “American”. The soldier then asks “What kind of American?” The entire movie is a fairly mediocre melodrama with the exception of that one scene, that nailed it. What kind of American are you? Let’s find out.

    On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, in case you haven’t noticed, America is a nation that has lost its way, so much so that it seem about ready to launch itself into freefall. 2026 will be the year that America turns 250, a number perfectly suited to be the point where it all falls apart. In the book of Numbers, 250 princes rise up in rebellion against Moses, but I’m sure that’s just one of those ‘crazy coincidences’ in the King James Bible. Christian, if you live in this country and don’t know what kind of American you are, you better get busy and figure it out before it all ‘hits the fan’, because it’s most certainly going to. Peace on this Earth, good will toward our fellow man, what type of crazy talk is that? This Earth has never seen such things, but they will when the condition set by the angel of the Lord is finally met.

    On this episode of Rightly Dividing, this is Part #3 of an unintentional series about Christmas and the Bible, and tonight we tag along with the shepherds on that Bethlehem hillside and listen to the angel of the Lord give His “Christmas’ message. Speaking of that, you do realize that the angel of the Lord in the passage is the preincarnate Jesus, right? Am I saying that Jesus, as the angel of the Lord, is announcing His own birth?     President Trump ordered U.S. forces (Coast Guard + Navy) to seize a large oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, an unprecedented use of military force against a vessel tied to a foreign nation. Venezuela condemned it as “piracy,” and critics warn it could escalate tensions toward war with Maduro’s government. Not only that, when asked what he planned to do with the 1.1 million gallons of oil on the tanker, he replied “I think we’ll keep it”. Who’s ready for ‘total war”? It’s coming.

It blurs the line between criminal acts (violence, property destruction, threats) and political belief, association, or funding. That means activism, protest, and dissent risk being treated as potential terrorism.     When the Lord instituted the seven feasts in Leviticus 23, He gave Israel a prophetic calendar that not only marked their national life but laid out, in exact order, the future timeline of the First and Second Advents of Jesus Christ. The seventh of these feasts, the Feast of Tabernacles, stands out as the great concluding celebration—a picture of joy, harvest, and God dwelling among His people.

    “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 (KJB)

    On this episode of Rightly Dividing, because it is the seventh feast, it speaks of completion—and nothing is more complete than the finished work of Christ at His First Advent and the future restoration at His Second. To understand Tabernacles properly, we apply the Law of First Mention, which sets the foundation for how a subject develops throughout Scripture. The first time we encounter this feast is in Exodus 23:16, where it is called “the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year.” Immediately we see three themes: ingathering, ending, and completion. God is showing us that Tabernacles marks a final harvest and a time of rejoicing in His presence and provision. The first mention of the tabernacle itself also reinforces this. In Exodus 25:9, God commands Moses to build a sanctuary “that I may dwell among them.” This is the heartbeat of the Feast of Tabernacles—God dwelling with man. In the wilderness, God’s presence was visible in cloud and fire above the Tabernacle; but this was not the final fulfillment. It was a picture, a shadow, a type pointing forward to something far greater.

    Make no mistake about it, when you die you will go to one of two places, either Heaven or Hell. All people born into this world have the same starting point, this is the true equality of all men. Heaven is a literal place, and so is Hell. People don’t go to Heaven because they are good, neither do people enter into Hell because they are bad. You are either saved or lost. Saved people go to Heaven and the unsaved into Hell.

    Let me be crystal-clear about one thing. People do not wind up in Hell because God failed or refused to saved them, not at all. People wind up in Hell because they have refused the salvation God provides us in Jesus Christ on the cross.
