“The Gipper” would be especially proud of two young patriots from Bossier Schools who commanded a presence at the Ronald Reagan Oratory Competition.

It’s just one highlight from Celebrate Freedom Week, where civic pride took center stage. Every third grader received a personal piece of history, thanks to U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and the Republican Women of Bossier, while Bossier Schools raised its voice on Capitol Hill, advocating for educational opportunities and our military families.

We’re also shining a spotlight on our first Star award winner of the school year – known as “the heartbeat of Curtis Elementary” -- who is inspiring students and staff alike.
