    The aims of the podcast are to discuss key topics within Oral Surgery which are aimed at both undergraduate and postgraduate clinicians with an interest in this area. 

    He is joined by guest speakers who are experts in their field, and also hosts a revision series for undergraduates.

    In this episode I talk to Dr Jenny Girdler who is currently a Leadership Fellow in Net Zero/Sustainable Dentistry in the UK whilst out of program from Oral Surgery Specialty Training.

    We discuss why Jenny chose to take a year out of training and then focus on what sustainability is in relation to healthcare. Jenny outlines the importance of sustainability and the legislation which exists for healthcare professionals in the UK, and how it is being integrated into the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculums. She also gives us tips as to what we can do as individuals to support this.
