  • Daily Devotions; Three Forgotten Parts of the Gospel - July 5, 2025
    Jul 5 2025

    Scripture Focus: Acts 24:24–25

In today’s Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall challenges us to look closely at what the Apostle Paul really preached about faith in Christ. When Paul stood before Felix and Drusilla, he didn’t only talk about God’s love or grace in isolation. He reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment. These themes were not optional side notes—they were core to the gospel message. Pastor Sumrall reminds us that the good news of salvation is meant to transform our lives, calling us to right living and preparing us to stand before a just God. In a time when many want to strip the gospel down to a feel-good slogan, we’re urged to return to the fullness of the message: a faith that produces holiness, self-discipline, and readiness for the day we’ll give an account. This is the gospel that changes lives for eternity.

  • Daily Devotions; The Cry of God’s Heart - July 4, 2025
    Jul 4 2025

    Scripture Focus: Proverbs 1:23–24

In today’s Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall reflects on the breathtaking patience and love of God. Again and again, God reaches out, calling us to come and sit with Him—not out of duty, but because He wants to share His counsel and, more beautifully, His heart. While many people in life might share ideas or opinions, your heavenly Father desires something deeper: to open His heart to you, to share His desires, thoughts, and feelings. When you take time each morning to meet with Him, He promises to make you wise and show you how to make decisions that honor Him. Pastor Sumrall encourages us: never ignore God’s invitation. When you respond to His gentle call, you’ll discover the sweetest fellowship and the life-giving wisdom that only comes from spending time in His presence.

  • Daily Devotions; Two Kinds of Savings - July 3, 2025
    Jul 3 2025

    Scripture Focus: 1 Chronicles 18

In today’s Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall shares a powerful principle hidden in the story of King David’s victories. As God gave David success and great wealth, he didn’t just spend it all. David carefully set aside two kinds of resources: one treasury for daily needs and another treasury of dedicated things—gold, silver, and bronze saved for the future work of God. Decades later, Solomon was able to build the magnificent temple because David and Israel’s leaders had been setting aside these treasures over many years. Pastor Sumrall encourages us to do the same in our families: maintain regular savings for everyday needs, but also build a second “treasury” to prepare for future opportunities and God-given projects. When God blesses you with abundance, learn to set something special apart—you’re not just saving, you’re preparing for the destiny God has ahead.
