As we begin the new year we start a new series through the book of Joshua. Pastor Sean looks at four things God promises to Joshua: the gift, the guarantee, good success, and guidance. God's promises are true for us as well, so let's walk in obedience to Jesus this year!

Schedule daily devotions. 2. Join a Sunday school/ Wednesday evening class. 3. Be part of a small group for accountability. 4. Let Jesus show you where you need to grow! This week Kevin looks at the prescription, the problem, and the promise that Peter gives us in this passage. Are we going to be the kind of people who are living our lives for the Lord and fulfilling the great commission to go and make disciples? The problems still exist... There are scoffers, and people who will try to deceive you for their own gain, but the prescription has not changed... remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandments of the Lord and Savior through the apostles as we await the promise of a new heaven and earth where righteousness dwells.

As we continue to look at 2 Peter, the focus is turned to false teachers. Pastor Sean breaks down what Peter reveals about false teachers in this passage. He reveals their character, their strategy, their promises, and their results.
