 The most effective prayers in virtually every religion and spiritual practice throughout history follow the same pattern. Rev. Bill Marchiony and Carol L. Lawrence talk about the five-step formula for Practical Prayer, and the shift in perspective that can be required to allow our prayers to create real new experiences in our lives.

Each weekly episode digs into the topic from a fresh angle, providing insight on the ways that our beliefs, our upbringing, our education and our society come together to make our lives the way they are. They also provide the spiritual tools we can use to move beyond those old influences and open ourselves to the life of our dreams.

Rev. Bill Marchiony, DD is an ordained Minister of Religious Science, Spiritual Director of New Thought Philadelphia, and author of “Practical Prayer for Real Results”. He has been studying and teaching these powerful principles since the 1990s. Before that, he was a zany morning radio air personality, which makes this podcast fun to listen to.

Carol L Lawrence is an author, Spiritual Life Consultant, inspirational speaker who has spent 30+ years in church leadership, spirituality and biblical studies, and seminary education. Having pastored churches across denominations and racial diversity has given her a respect for a broad and inclusive theological perspective. She’s also the host of the “Jazz Divine” podcast, a unique worship/meditation experience with Smooth Jazz.

Together, this unlikely duo explores the transformation that is possible when these powerful New Thought teachings are added to a more traditional religious framework.
