    Drivers traveling on Willow Creek Road on Wednesday may have noticed a stronger than usual police presence. The Prescott and Prescott Valley Police Departments, along with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, joined forces as part of the Tri City Task Force to focus enforcement efforts on this busy corridor. Throughout the operation, officers conducted 105 traffic stops. These stops resulted in 69 speeding citations and 3 excessive speed citations. The highest speed recorded was 70 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone, highlighting the continued need for education and enforcement in this area. The Tri City Task...

  • Sedona Issues Important Reminder to All Business Owners

    The city of Sedona’s Clerk's Office reminds local business owners to renew their Business License now for calendar year 2026. Renewal applications must be submitted and approved by Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026. Five dollar-a-month late fees will begin to accrue on February 1, 2026. Notifications were sent out via email, to the email address on file. Business owners are encouraged to check their spam folder if they did not receive the notification. Business owners will receive an email with a link to an online renewal application. A renewal fee of is due at the time the application is submitted....
