So many things happen (negatively) when you wait till the very last minute. Service times are limited to shortened hours at the shop, parts can't be sourced or delivered in a timely manner and a repair may take longer than your expected travel departure dates. Everyone of those reasons is good reminder to plan ahead and have your vehicle checked over at least one month prior to actually going on your holiday travels.
