  • Part 2 Reimagining Christianity for the Mystics on the Margins with Dr. Robert KC Forman
    Jan 4 2026
In this episode, Kelly talks with Dr. Robert K.C. Forman, author of “Christianity Imagined,” about how Christianity drew him in, what’s meaningful to him about Christian practice, and what many modern Christians miss about Jesus’ message. Dr. Forman shares his journey through various spiritual practices, describes the church experience that changed everything for him, and defines the distinction between the pre-Easter and post-Easter Jesus as an example for us to follow. This is an important conversation for the “mystics on the margins,” who are in touch with the spiritual, find comfort and power and prayer, but do not necessarily believe in the kind of God that churches traditionally teach about.

Dr. Robert K.C. Forman is a prolific writer, teacher, and spiritual guide. Through his work as a university professor, ordained interfaith minister, hospital chaplain, and more, Dr. Forman has tirelessly studied the intellectual and mystical aspects of human spiritual experience. His latest book, Christianity Reimagined, offers a fresh perspective on faith, illuminating the voices of “mystics on the margins” whose insights challenge and enrich the spiritual landscape. • PART 2 Attention Outcasts! God is Calling You In: with John S. Suarez
    Dec 21 2025

John Suarez, author of The Outsider’s Banquet (Quoir Publishing) is a sweet, beautiful soul with a wildly creative imagination. Through his semi-autobiographical novel that walks the line between fantasy and philosophy, Suarez takes us on a dreamlike odyssey into his understanding of God’s love. We are so grateful for the chance to meet and talk with Suarez, who shares with us about his very real experiences struggling between his faith and sexuality in a strict Catholic environment, as well as his years of searching before finally realizing that the already knew God—a loving God who embraces the “outsiders.” Together we examine the transformative power of storytelling, as Suarez tells us how he realized his identity and came to understand the importance of sharing his truth with others. The Outsider’s Banquet: A Journey in Healing, Overcoming, Progressing, and Evolving, is John S. Suarez’s first book. It was just recently released by Quoir publishing, and contains a foreward by author/publisher Keith Giles. The Outsider’s Banquet is a genre-bending spiritual novel where visions slip into memory, grace crosses timelines, and transformation arrives in unexpected forms—through magic, quantum entanglement, and love that refuses to let go. Through vision quests, near-death moments, and impossible tenderness, The Outsider’s Banquet explores what happens when the rejected become the reconcilers—and the ones never invited begin setting the table.
